ETO'O COULD FACE PRISON SENTENCE

Authorities have opened an investigation and have already had a lot of people come forward stating that they will testify against the Barcelona striker.

Other journalists who were present are outraged by the player's actions and are calling for him to face strong punishment for his assault of one of their own.

Philippe Boney was left with two fractures and severe bruising on his face after allegedly being headbutted by Eto'o in the frenzy.

Witnesses also claim that other players that were present took cameras off journalists that had pictures that could have been used as evidence.

The problems started when the press refused to ask questions in protest at Cameroon holding a private training session ahead of the game against Cape Verde. Eto'o was unhappy at the silence and began to insult the journalists and became angry when they shouted back.

If the investigation finds that there is a case to answer then Eto'o will go before a judge to explain himself and has already been warned that he could face between six months and five years in prison.

The former Real Madrid and Mallorca star is currently the subject of interest from both AC Milan and Inter, but Barcelona have attempted to fend them both off by placing a €50m price tag on his head.

As a football fan,im reall disturbed that a player like Samuel Eto'o could be missing on the field of play due to mere insults.
Any way, lets all pray that nothing will happen to the cameroun born deadly striker.
