CRICKET SCORE AT THE BABA YARA STADIUM

The clash of the titans between Accra hearts of Oak and Kumasi asante Kotoko at the Baba yara sports stadium on sunday produced a cricket score line when five goals were produced at the end of the first half before kotoko made it six early way in to the second half.
Even the conoisseurs of the game couldnt have predicted right because matches involving the two rivals usually end in either a narrow win for one side or mostly a drawn game. The match really lived up to expectation as both sides displyed a great piece of good football. It was really ghana's el classico as both sides wanted to prove to the entire world how power their teams are.
Knowing very well that the match is telecast on Gateway TV and the whole world is watching, players of both sides did well to prove to the world of socer that Ghana football have really come of age.But Kotoko started it all as early as the 10th minuted when kwadwo Poku fired in the first goal of the game. And as at this point, the fans of the current form Kotoko new they way going to pay Hearts back for what they did to them in 2000 when hearts defeated them by 4-0 at the then Accra sports stadium now the Ohene Gyan sports stadium.Four minutes later,Hearts had their equalizer through the serial killer Benard Don Bortey.Hearts made it two in the 40th minute when Ekow Gansah capitalised on a defensive blunder to make it two for hearts.
Two minutes later,Kotoko also had their equalizer through their deadly striker Eric bohyeba Bekoe. But those four goals were not enough to end the when in the added time,Francis Jojo Bossman increased the tally for the Phobians to make it 3-2 and that was how the first half ended.
Early in to the second half,Steven tico tico Oduro scored a spectacular goal to seal the score line for the game. And it was really a great day for all at the Baba yara stadium. Both teams created a number of scoring chances but none of them were able to find the much winner as the FIFA referee blew final whistle to end proceedings.
It was reall y spectacular evening for me as i witnessed the game live at the stadium and as phobian fan,i was really happy as my team were not rooted to shame as the kotoko fans claimed to massacre hearts before the game.
